The Mansion of Doom

 *The Mansion of Doom*

Four friends, Rohan, Aryan, Vihaan, and I, embarked on a road trip, seeking adventure and thrill. Our GPS led us down a deserted road, and as night fell, we stumbled upon an abandoned mansion. The once-grand estate loomed before us, its turrets reaching towards the moon like skeletal fingers.

Curiosity got the better of us, and we decided to explore the mansion. As we stepped inside, the creaking doors seemed to echo with a warning. We laughed it off, but the atmosphere inside was palpably tense. Cobwebs clung to the chandeliers, and dust coated every surface.

As we ventured deeper, strange noises began to echo through the halls. Doors creaked open and shut on their own, and the shadows seemed to move of their own accord. We tried to reassure each other it was just the old mansion settling, but deep down, we knew something was off.

One by one, we began to disappear. At first, we thought it was just pranks, but soon, it became clear that something sinister was at play. I searched frantically for my friends, calling out their names, but there was only silence.

As I navigated the labyrinthine corridors, I stumbled upon a room filled with old photographs. The faces in the pictures seemed to stare back at me, their eyes cold and menacing. I realized then that we weren't the first to enter this mansion, and we wouldn't be the last.

The night wore on, and the mansion seemed to shift and twist around me. I was trapped in a living nightmare, with no escape in sight. My friends were gone, and I was left to face the darkness alone.

The last thing I remember is the sound of footsteps behind me, growing louder with every step. And then, everything went black.

When I came to, I was lying on the roadside, outside the mansion. The sun was rising, casting a golden glow over the desolate landscape. I stumbled to my feet, looking back at the mansion, and that's when I saw it – a door creaking open, inviting me back in. I knew then that I had to get as far away from that place as possible.

The mansion still stands, waiting for its next victims. Some say it's cursed, others say it's haunted. I know one thing – I'll never set foot in that place again.

Would you like me to add more details or explore a different direction?
